Hi, Betty, Would you please write me more description about AmiExpo in
L.A.? Where this Expo will be held? How long do I take to get there from

Hi, Joji,
The AmiEXPO will be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles;
address: 404 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, Cal 90071. Dates, October
7, 8, and 9. Friday, noon to 6 P.M., Sat. and Sun., 10 AM to 5 PM.
Speakers will be Joel Shusterman (VP of Sales and Marketing for C=) Don
Hicks (editor of Amazing Computing Magazine) Fred Fish (archivist of Amiga
public domain)
To get to the Westin B. from the airport, you might need to know that it is
located just off Cal. highway 110 between 4th and 5th streets in downtown
L.A. From the airport, taxis are about $25; rental cars are available; the
hotel offers shuttle service for $10; and Air-link is available for $6.50.

If you reserve a room, be sure to tell them you're with AmiEXPO, as they
