Hi David: I am one of the lucky Beta Testers for GOMF 3.0, and did NOT add the button for exactly the reasons you are leary of it. In the final form, it plugs in UNDER Paula, and I for one do not like pulling $60+ custom chips out and adding Unknown hardware to it. I think you will like 3.0, but I for one will NEVER add the hardware. Larry Rosenman via Whap! 1.4R

Larry, I didn't plug in the button either, but not because I don't want to pull the big chip. The pins on the extender socket I have (a very early beta) are too big. One of thse days I will fix that and install it. -larry

How useful is gomf 3 without this button? How does it compare to 2.2, which I just got? Ron

GOMF 3 is VERY useful without the button, more memory/resources are freed as well as vector checking. I feel it is a MAJOR improvement over 2.2 Larry Rosenman via Whap! 1.4R

I did send in my registration. I wonder whether they will send me any notice. Ron
