I am in need of an object – a 4 petalled flower for a project. I can be in either sculpt or turbo format. Any suggestions on how to make one (ie which tools and technique) or where to find one? thanks, Shalom

Shalom, there is a wonderful Trillium flower on the Impulse Woodland Object data disk. Disk has variety of ferns, leaves, and other critters from the garden, but only one flower (Trillium). This is in Silver 3.0 format. All high quality objects done by Louis markoya. Interesting that you should be wanting a flower. I just started a Pansy this weekend, since my new house has some very pretty ones… Will be glad to share it with you, but it is not high priority and might be a week or two before it is finished… good luck –jp–

John, why don't you upload the object here when you've got it finished? Impulse sells object disks, but there's no reason why we couldn't start our own public domain collection of 3D objects. –Rick

Good idea.. a good source of objects would be very useful. I am out of town for about a week, but when I get back home to Amigaland, I will do so…–jp–

John, Maybe you can share some of your ideas on how to create the flower. I began by using spin for 90 degrees of a cross section of a flower petal (along its length). The results are interesting but I need some further refinements. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Shalom
