RAD: has one distinct advantage over vd0:…under AmigaDOS v1.3 and
above, you can boot FROM RAD: rather than a hard drive or floppy drive.
To do this, you need an A1000 with 1.3 KS, or an A2000 or 500 with
the 1.3 ROM installled.

Yes I was aware of this. I have been using Rad: in a minimal
configuration (just enough to reboot and remount my hard drives and Vd0:)
and use Vd0: as a replacement for Ram:
I have a A1000 with a Lucas/Frances 4Meg and a A2058 Ram board in a
Phoenix box and it all works well with my Wedge controller.
I am currently trying to get a Rejuvenator to work with my Lucas but
have not had much success so I may be going back to my original config. I
need a 68020 more than I need 1.3 in Rom or 1 Meg chip Ram.
Thanks for the Info over the last couple of years and monitoring some of
these threads. (some of them get a little weird.)
