Is Shufflepuck Cafe enjoyable? And how! Whether a novice or master, it's
great fun because you have a range of opponents, with varying skills, to
choose from. And some of their snarling/smirking alien retorts when they
smash a puck into your goal just drive you on to blow them away. (Ever
find yourself talking back to a computer game?)
The game makes good use of Amiga graphics and sound, complete with a
convincing shattering of glass as the puck slams into the goal (smashing
the glass panel behind it).
So far, the only way I've been able to beat all of the opponents was to
"cheat" slightly by doubling the size of my paddle. Even then, it was a
close, but enjoyable, battle.
