I am looking for a 68010 CPU at 12- or 16MHz for a hardware project. If you have one, or know of a possible source, please contact me. This chip is not easy to locate above 10Mhz.

According to Motorolla, and a friend of mine who owns one, They at least make a 12MHz 68010.

just try clocking it at 12, even if it sez 10 mhz, it may work

The project involves clocking the CPU at 14MHz, not 12. A 10MHz chip would not work, and using a 12 is pushing it a bit.

Christopher, Newark Electronics lists the 12 MHz version in their catalog. They aren't the least cost vendor around, but if it's a case of can't find one anywhere else, then it's worth it. (I bought a couple of CMOS 68000's from them a short while ago.) They've got offices across the US. If you need a number for them, let me know your location & I'll post the nearest phone number for you. Hope this helps. 8) David
