Well Amigos we have a CD ROM!!
Its put out by Xetec and they have an advert in AW. Stats:
– Internal $599.00
– External $699.00
_ Reads ISO and High Sierra formats
– Come with FF on CD up to #360

I assume it is a SCSI and comes with custom drivers.

Placed a quick call to Xetec and this is what I found out…
They don't even have the spec sheet, yet! The guy I talked to (John) said
that they were expecting them in today, and would send me one ASAP. He
proceded to take my name and address, then asked which model of the Amiga I
have (A2500 equivalent) and which controller. He asked if I had the CBM
controller and I said no, one from GVP and he grunted affirmative. Didn't
question or comment on that fact, so I assume they are SCSI drives. Don't
know if it is ISO 9660 or ISO 9660/XA, though your post said High-Sierra
and ISO 9660. Don't know about drivers, either- though I suspect a setup
similar to the way AE handles their high-density drives.
I'll post more as I get it…
