I use both the Vibrant drivers and the RCPADI, Vibrant with a Build
in Mach32 from ATI and RCPADI with a SPEA graphiti Hilite for
1280x1024x256 colors, this RCPADI is the same I used with release 2,
dating from July 93. It seems to work quite well with r3. I did
have a few minor problems occuring in the Materials editor. the
RCPADI makes the SPEA logo appear on the right of the screen above
the buttons in r2, in r3 the logo is gone in the editor, keyframer,
lofter and shaper but is still visible in the materials editor at
right bottom of the screen, it is necessary to change the drivers
setup for rendering and displaying. The second problem I had is a
complete block of PC functioning in the Materials editor when
rendering a few materials.

It was my understanding that SPEA had new drivers for R3 on their
BBS in Germany. Have you checked those out yet?
