Betty, Thanks for the info. I will keep ATALK in mind. Does it have the Kermit protocol? I need it to communicate with my new HP-48SX calculator. I have tried using ATERM7.3, but do not really like it. <<< Michael Shea >>>> <<< 76665,3360 >>>>

Michael – I find that the VT100 program (I use version 2.8, though I believe it's now up to version 2.9B) has an effective Kermit protocol implementation. Jeff Schweiger

Jeff, I will download it and see if I like it any better. Thanks <<< Michael Shea >>>> <<< 76665,3360 >>>>

Michael, yes, AtalkIII does, indeed, have Kermit. I use that one lots. It can run on a Workbench screen or on its own screen, too. There are a couple of things I don't like about it – lack of B+ protocols is the major one, but the other is that it doesn't open the serial port in shared mode, so it CANNOT work with Whap!. Betty
