How do I send a message pos priv (private)?

Private messages cannot be sent in any of the Amiga forums. If you wish to reply to a message in such a way that it will be read only by the person who wrote the message you're replying to, type type MAIL instead of POST at the end. Your reply will be sent via E-Mail. THol() { cout << "Sir, I exist." ;}

So far as I know, private messages have been forbidden in the Amiga forums for at least a year and a half. I can never remember posting a private message in any Amiga forum, starting in 1985.

Michael, Private messages have never (to my knowledge) been available on the AmigaForums, nor on the majority of other forums. A few places, notably the games fora, use private messages as part of their operation, and thus, they have to be enabled for them. In most cases, the point of a forum is to have public messages, and any message that is to be sent privately is just Emailed. Betty

Betty, I guess I never really checked. I have POS PRI'd to a few individuals I think. I never bothered to see if it was private or not. Michael

Not in the Amiga forums, it isn't. Private messages are not enabled at all here. Betty
