Sorry it took so long to get back to you on the "*N" in script text.
There are a series of "escape" codes that you can put in text which you
want to "echo" to the cli or shell during the running of a script. Those
sequences create bold, ital, reverse, colored etc. text.
But, for the life of me, I can't remember where the escape codes are
documented!

Thanks for the reply, Ray. I have seen the *N in startup-sequences before
but never knew the reason for it. I thought Amiga esc codes were more
complex.
Thanks, Vic. So that's why it didn't look familiar. I would guess
that escape code imbedded in the Startup-Sequences will have to be
rewritten for 2.0 since the "c" commands aren't written in BCPL. (Or am I
all screwed up?)
