I don't like to flame on another Amiga user, so this won't be too 'hot',
but hey, a lot of us out here like 2.0! Not to mention a lot of us really
like the A3000.
The one thing I wish I had is the update from 36.141, I know other people
who also have a 3000 that want that update too, apparantly it is not
readily available except to developers. The store I deal with knows nothing
about it….
My 3000 was one of the first ones to be shipped with a 50 meg
Quantum, nd it was shipper with : Kickstart V. 36.143 Workbench V. 36.68
I am not a developer, and I got my 3000 in the educational plan.
Hope thats of use. Go to your store and ask them to open one of their new
machine s and give you a copy of the new superkickstart disk…
Sure 2.0 looks nice, but would you want to trust it until it is put into
ROM?
I feel IMHO (So Mark doesn't jump on me) that C= is using the user to gamma
test their operating system, companies such as Apple wouldn't dare try
something like this…
What C= has done isn't necessarily bad, they should've warned the user a
little more about the state of 2.0, that's all.
We have some perfectly legitimate install scripts that work under 1.3 but
fail under 2.0 because C= decided they wanted to change something. We get
*TOO MANY* calls at the office about certain products not working under
2.0, someone should have informed these people about the state of "release
2.0".

I would just like to get updates that have been released, and products
like my copy of AmigaVision that should have been here some time back. CBM
needs to work on keeping their paying customers up to date on software.
that's exactly the point. NO updates have been 'released', they are still
'beta'.
