#Amiga to Mac Graphics?

Does anyone know of a way to exchange color graphics between an Amiga and a
Macintosh II (8-bit/256 color)? My ten year-old son has an Amiga, and he's
making some nice landscapes with a fratal program that I'd like to view on
my system.

You might covert his graphics to GIF, and then view them with a Mac GIF
viewer.

There is a very nice Mac desk accessory called PICTure This that will
convert from IFF to any Mac format. It does not yet support 24 bit IFF,
but the developers hope to add that this year. I don't remember who
publishes it, but if you call Mac Connection I'm sure they'll be able to
help you. I seem to remember it costing somewhere in the $50 range.

Another possibility is Interlink (Version 2.1) It does a large number of gr
(Thats graphic) format conversions. I'm using to move between a 24 bit Mac
II and an Amiga. Besides PICT to IFF, it does about a dozen other
conversions. Also supports ARexx for automation of the process. Bill Dwyer
In addition to file conversion, you would need MAC-2-DOS and a mac drive
on the 500 to put the files on a mac drive. I'd say also that Interlink is
definitely the way to go for the file conversion itself.
