It is a nice board too! I love having an extra meg of chip ram. Now I know
what will happen, these programmers are gonna start writing stuff that will
hog up on the chip ram and we'll find ourselves wishing (& wanting) the
next generation of Agnus and MORE ram.

I'll wait until the 4MB Agnus (Ultra Agnus) is released :^>
before I upgrade again.

Why wait? I haven't heard of an ultra agnus, but then again I haven't heard
about 15 gigabyte bubble memory agnuses either. [smile] The 2Mb version is
helpful for sure!

Would you have thought about a 2MB Agnus when the ECS was first being
discussed many moons ago? Look at it this way: The Amiga has a designed-in
4MB chip RAM address space. Eventually…

The Amiga has a designed in 2Meg of space for CHIP RAM, Not 4Meg. This
does not mean that the memory map could not be changed on a later version
of the Amiga. Ever since the A1000, there has been an empty portion of the
Amiga's memory map that when taken with the existing CHIP RAM totaled 2Meg.
Prior to the A3000, there has not been the custom chips to access it.
