Is the "TWELVE GAUGE 030" for A1200 shipped in USA?
It has good reputaion on magazine.
I hear it is shipping in very limited quantities…
(I have the Microbotics M1230XA board myself and I don't have any
compliants. No SCSI, but it is a lot cheaper!)

Thanks for your reply. I have got it. It works well,,,,but expensive,,,
Especially it gets very hot. But there are any space for cooling fan or heat
sink.
What gets hot? A Twelve-Gauge? Or the 030 ? Any 030 gets pretty hot; the faster
it is, the hotter it gets. But compared to an 040, an 030 is "cool" (040's get
up to almost boiling water temperature).

030 on Twelve-gauge board is hot. I am using Aladdin 4D on A1200. At the long
rendering of animation, I always find System-stopped. I do not know it is
because of the heat of board. But on other machine (I have A2000 with GVP030),
It goes well. As everyone knows , A1200's trap-door expansion port is VERY
SMALL. Hot air can not escape from there. So, I GUESS the heat of 030 (50Mhz)
stops system. It is very big problem for me.
Thanks for the compliment, Bob. We've been shipping XA in quantity for some
time now. –Redmond
