I personally know nothing of any of Autodesk's software. I have a friend who does, but knows nothing of CompuServe. He asked me to find out if "an ADI for the HP3 printer" was available on line. He also told me that it should have the extension ".exp". Does anyone know where I can get this file? I tried the libraries here, but I'm not sure what it is that I'm looking for.

You probably are looking for a driver for AutoCAD — in which case you need to GO ACAD. This forum addresses their multimedia products. Dave

That's what I thought, be he claimed it was for 3D studio. 3D Studio is the 3D rendering package, is it not? I know he does quite a bit of that. (Still images – He's not up on video or animations yet) Thanx Alex

If your friend is looking for a printer driver for 3D Studio, tell him that, aside from the one that was shipped with the product, no printer manufacturer that we're aware of has written a printer driver. However, this has been no great loss, because most 3D Studio users simply output their images as TIFF or Targa files, and then use other utilities, or programs (such as Windows graphics programs) to print the images. – Jack
