James, you have at least one "fact" incorrect in your Functional Comparison:
the highest 32-bit resolutions supported by the ATVista are 1512×486 in NTSC
and 1480×578 in PAL. Other resolutions include 1008×486 and 756×486 in NTSC,
and 986×578 in PAL. In terms of resolution at least, the ATVista appears to
whomp the heck out of the Matrox Illuminator Pro. Even the Targa+ can do
756×486 in NTSC, albeit only in 16-bit mode.

I didn't get my facts incorrect. This was taken directly from Matrox
Electronic Systems, Ltd. Functional Comparison Liturature. If you feel that
they have in any way misrepresented anything I suggest you imeadiatly call them
at 1-800-361-4903. Since the call is toll free I expect you will get back to
me with an answer in the next few Hours.<g>
Unlike Truevision They have real live people that answer the phone and answer
these types of questions directly. So you needn't question an individuals
sources. Your able to verify them directly!
