KEYFRAMER PATH

Can anyone tell me how to make objects follow eachother sequentially on the
same path like cars of a train on the same track?/exit
Rebbie:
I had the same problem with a train accident, this is what I did.
* Create the path for the first object
* Then, do a "object/tracks/copy" to the second object, use the
position, rotate and absolute options.
* Go to the track info and slide the "all tracks" starting with the
second key to the left "x" number of frames. The number of frames to slide
the keys is determined by the distance the object travels per frame divided
by the distance you want the second object to follow.
The following distance is from the front of the first object to the front
of the second obects. If the oject is 50 feet long and you want it to follow
by 10 feet, then the following distance is 60 feet.
* All the objects will start from the same position and then follow the
object in front at the appropiate time. You will want the starting location
to be out of sight because of this.
Any questions feel free to ask away!!!

Thanks Rick. I'll try what you suggested and let you know how it went.

Hi Rick,
I see my original question has scrolled off but I wanted to thank you for your
help. Your instructions were very enlightening and they worked. No one else
has been able to help me with that one. (This was about the train like motion
in the keyframer.)
Thanks again,
Rebbie
