I just got CanonBj-200 printer and I also downloade drivers for it from printer llibrary in amigasection. I used the font-shop to download a font to my printer, but when I printed a document (ProWrite3.3) it used a different font. I tryed a lot of stuff, but no matter what my printer does not print with fonts I download to it. Can any one help?

It seems like you set your printers dip switches wrong. Make sure the download buffer is available in the printer. You dip switch settings are very critical. In case you still have problems, let me know. Any problem that I can understand/repeat on my system will be fixed in the software. There is one known bug in the BJ200 and BJC driver (that is fixed in V1.41, though V1.41 is not uploaded yet because I want the BJC600 driver too be finished first): a fault in Final Copy causes a fault in the "Graphics only" emulation to appear… when printing multiple pages, the second page causes trash to be printed… — Wolf Faust, Am Dorfgarten 10, 6000 Frankfurt 50, Germany —

I have tried that, it didn't work. Then I set my switch 12 to on (epson emulation) and used canonBJ-EC and it still had problems. It could be ProWrite. Any more suggestions?

Wolf, desregard my earlier reply, my problem was that I was using font shop with the canonBJ-EC driver. I set my switch 12 to BJ10 mode and used BJ200 driver with font shop. Everything worked fine. So, when is the new version of the canon drivers gonna be uploaded? (grin).

How did you run into this problem? The installation script doesn't install the FontShop program in case you select the epson driver. In the opposite, if you install the BJ200 driver as recommend, the CanonBJ-EC driver is not installed? So what did lead you to install both drivers? Well, I hope to upload the new BJC600 driver during the next days (I will finish the driver today), but I don't know when I will upgrade the BJ driver (it requires ~8 hours spare time to do the job). At least the BJ driver on that new disk will fix the aRIS problem with Final Copy (some sort of quick fix, not an upgrade). — Wolf Faust, Am Dorfgarten 10, 6000 Frankfurt 50, Germany —
