Sorry, a quadra is a mac. But your 486 will be fine — most of the time the program has a good feel. It pauses slightly just before you start drawing _onto_ another surface but otherwise, good and responsive. I've got 48 meg but Sketch is quite happy in about an 8-10 meg partition. Maybe less — depends on complexity of the scene I suppose. As for the video card. Well I dunno <g>. Erm, it's best if you get 24 bit colour (I think that's called 'trucolor' on pc?). But I dunno how that translates to the memory you have on the card — depends on your screen size as well. Cheerio Steve M There is 1 Reply. Read action !

48 megs – It makes my heart beat faster! I've got the 24 bit color. Now to research costs, etc.. Did you say this program is called 'Alias Sketch'? Who makes it??? Thanks Steve Roberta Read action !
