Thank you very much for your kind offer. It is touching to know that you are
prepared to temporarily part with an old friend 🙂
The project may require us to use the unit for longer than six months, although
we are not sure yet.
If it is alright with you, we will wait and see if we get any other response to
our message, and if not, we will contact you within a few weeks to discuss your
suggestion.

Hi, Jo —
Truth be known, I've not played with it since upgrading from 1.3
and the 68000 to a GVP 40Mhz board for the A2000 (with WB2.04) and to
A1200 at the office, so I don't even know if I can now run any part
of this relic! So, I can obviously live without it for 6 months if
you need it that long or more.
I'll wait on your decision. (I should be in the neighborhood —
you're in Oz, right? — next July, so can either deliver it in
person, or — if you get it sooner — see the results!)

We are very interested in borrowing your mindlight. So I guess I'd better tell
you a bit more about why we want it … 🙂
We (my husband Keith, and I) have put together a fun computer playground type
show that is now touring the country. The show is called Megafun and has about
20 different installations, all based on Amigas. It is designed primarily for
the 5-15 age group, but has appeal for all ages.
Installations include things like digitizing your face then painting clip art
all over it, making your own rock video clip by selecting music, background and
foreground animations, using an exercise treadmill to find your way through a
maze, putting together animating jigsaws, making soundscape stories, cycling
through the streets of Adelaide, creating discos etc etc.
We are seeking the mindlight for another installation for this show. Ideally we
would like this installation up and running this December, when the show comes
back to Adelaide.
If this is still feasible with you, please email me, so we can organise
practicalities (ie the $$$ 🙂 , insurance, postage etc.

Sounds like a lot of fun, are you hired by local organizations? Or is
your "tour" prescheduled by yourselves?
Very interesting, I for one would like to hear more about it.
