Brian, hack, cough, cough, $1000!, you gotta be kidding, what year is this, certainly not 1985! I believe you can purchase a new A1200 for less. If you get that for it, let me know I've got two of the 1000s here too! Chris

Try closer to $400 for a new 1200. If anyone will pay $1000 for a 1000 I have a couple of them here also that I will be happy to part with for waaaaaay less than $1000 🙂 Jim

Brian, I hope you won't be too disappointed to hear this, but Amiga 1000s reconditioned sell for maybe $200. The drive is worth maybe $50, the modem about $25, and the printer is at best $100. I think you won't get any offers of $1100. A new 3000 with 5 meg, 105 meg hard drive is $799.

Hello Brian, I sold my 1000 with much more than what you've included for $500 around two years ago and I actually felt guilty about it. <g> -Sean

I sold a similar system (with more memory) for $400 !!! An A3000 sells for $700 … NEW …. You ought to lower your price to a more reasonable $300, if you get that much… I'm not kidding… -Jonathan // Amiga online via Autopilot \\// MAC IIcx & 486 emulation via Amiga!

I hate to burst your bubble, but the 1000 with only 512K will get at the most $100. The 1280 modem maybe $5 or $10, the second drive (I am guessing is a 1010?) might be $20. Amiga technology has passed the stock 1000 several years ago. The $1100 might be a good price back in 86. Richard -> on the Amiga 1000 AutoPilot from Minneapolis

Look at what people are selling their A2000 for. It includes more memory, extra floppy drive, 1084 monitor, sometimes a hard drive & maybe a bridgeboard for under $1100. Look again at your pricing.
