Hi Mr. Visitor <g> 3D Studio Applied is a good self training guide – it has 11 tutorials covering mechanical design, architectural interiors, interior design, etc. You can find out more about 3DS APPLIED, and about all the other books on 3DS (INSIDE 3ds, Fallingwater, etc) by searching the libraries on this forum for the current book list. Does anyone remember what the book list file is called? Does this help you at all? N.

Hi, I bougt a great book at B. Dalton's and it has been my bible at school. It has more indepth tutorials than the Tutorials manual that comes with 3DS R3 and it is worded in a more lamens terms. The title of the book is Inside 3D Studio Release 3 and is published by NEW RIDERS PUBLISHING. Not only is it a great tutorial guide, but it comes with a CD-ROM with all kinds of Images, Objects and tutorials and shareware programs. In my opinion it is the best book ever published on a 3D animation program. You can contact right here on CIS by typing in any of the following commands: GO PHCP, GO QUEBOOKS, GO SAMS, GO ALPHA, GO BRADY, GO HAYDEN, GO QUESOFT or GO PARAMOUNTINTER. I hope this helps you out. See ya around. Joseph Mancuso
