GVP Tech, I am assisting a user group member who has installed a GVP SCSI/RAM+ in his A1200. It seems to have prepped a hard drive and is using it accordingly but no luck with an Archive Viper 2150S tape drive. I don't think he has the name of the scsi.device correct in Quarterback however he has tried the name gvpscsi.device as per the manual. Anything we've missed here? And is it really SCSI-II as his HD is. Thanks for anything you can tell me.

Bil, Pages 2.3 – 2.5 of the manual describe the use of GVPSCSICTRL for proper operation of tape drives. The driver name is gvpscsi.device. Does ExpertPrep see the tape drive? If not, the use GVPSCSICTRL to rescan the bus. Does the tape drive lock the SCSI bus? Use GVPSCSICTRL to turn off reselection on the tape drive. GVP TECH
