When is an update for Ani Pro due?

The updates for AAPro:
AAPro 1.0, then AAPro 1.3. To fix a couple of bugs in AAPro 1.3, there will be
a "stealth" update that will ship as AAPro 1.3a. I have been told this will be
"real soon now" or might even be currently shipping.

No AAPro 2.0 is planned for release in the near future. I'm not able to find
out a date. Any features you are hoping for??

Well, actualy I don't own Ani Pro … yet. But I am interested in buying a
good 2D animation program. I am concerned though that Ani Pro is limited to 8
bit color; that it does not support alpha chanels; and that it does not render
fields. Even the picture on the brochure for Ani Pro that I received looks a
bit rough (aliased edges).
I find Ani Pro's features compelling; I'm just concerned that I will not be
able to achieve the level of polish that I need.

You may be able to do more with AniPro than you think.
