#LHA138.RUN HELP?
3 messages in this thread
Bob_ Thanks for your information on LHA138.RUN and am now in this quandry
(sp?). While unpacking LHA138.RUN, I get an error message stating that there is
no room on Workbench 1.3. "Workbench 1.3 is full". Help me. I've dropped
everything that I could from Workbench 1.3 and now only work with "Prefs" and
"Systems". What can I do?

Rodney,
Copy LHA138.RUN to an empty floppy disk. Open up a CLI/Shell.
Once the shell window is opened, insert the floppy disk containing
LHA138.RUN into your drive, and type in the command "cd df0:" and hit
RETURN (without the quotes – note that this assumes that you inserted the
floppy disk into the internal floppy drive).
After this, at the command prompt, type "lha138.run" and hit return
(again, without the quotes). This should extract the file onto that
floppy disk.
Hope this helps…..

You can drop PREFS and save quite a bit of memory. When you need to change
preferences, PREFS from another disk will do the job for you.
