I urgently need to get Crossdos that came with Workbench 2.1 operational.
I've tried the proceedure for activating the Crossdos drivers using the manual.
Trouble is, I can't get the darned things to work. Everything seems correct
and as the manual says. The PC0 and PC1 drivers are in the dos drivers drawer
of the storage directory. But when I activate them, the floppy drives still
don't recognize MS-DOS disks (I'm using the correct density disks). I've tried
moving the drivers to the dos drivers drawer of the DEVS directory and
rebooting, as the manual says, but still no dice. Do you know what I'm doing
wrong? This is of TREMENDOUS importance to me, so I'd really appreciate any
light you could shed on this subject.

First, I just put the floppy into DF0: and looked for the two icons
that the manual says should be in workbench (PC0: and DF0:????). When I only
saw DF0:????, I tried double clicking on the icon, to no avail. Then, in a cli
window, first I typed cd DF0: and then tried PC0: All to no avail

You _did_ reboot after moving the icons from 'storage' to 'devs' didn't
you?
Do you know alot about the Cross-DOS, If you don't do you know someone who
does?

I don't know a lot. It showed up with 3.0 and I use it.

ACTIVATE=1 for PC0 and ACTIVATE=1 for PC1

Yes, they have those tooltypes.
