I like this idea a lot, it seems like it would very nicely solve my
problem of adjusting camera roll to match object rotation without all the
mucky-muck.
Regarding "scripting" on R4…what is it? I have almost no programming
expierience BTW.

The IPAS scripter I've seen demo'd for R4 is a programming tool for
creating animations. Some samples they gave were collision detection,
object speed controls , lighting controls like turning lights on and
off, etc. You could basically write C code (or what ever type they're
using) to automate various animation chores, or to plug-in animation
data from an outside source, like a flight recorder.
