As you can see, I survived (albeit with a cobweb or two LESS than I started
with).
It was nice to see the Milky Way again. Sometimes in SF it's easy to forget
that it's still up there.

You're right. I've noticed an remarkeable decrease in my average
neck/head angle since I moved to SF. I used to spend a LOT of time
staring at the night sky, now I just do it when I'm in the mountains
or the country.
