Jean, there are some commodities or useful programs that let you use the middle mouse button as a 'shift' key, to select multiple icons in one go for all sorts of useful things. I know of one called MMB.LHA, but I am sure there are quite a few more these days. Other than that, the middle mouse button is not often utilised for the Amiga.. Muzz

"Will I have use for the middle button in the future?" I think there are utilities in the libraries that can program your middle mouse button for various things. If you use X with a three button mouse, there are definately things you can do with it. In fact, you can program it just about any way you want.
