call noahji's in colorado, they can sell you the upgrade. They will even
answer the phone and talk to you, what's more they have a tech number,
that is also answered by a living being, who has a clue.

Thanks for the response. I called them today, and they were very gracious
and helpful. What's more, since I purchased my Retina used and the previous
owner isn't sure if he registered or not, NoahJi's is still accepting me as a
registered user! Seems they never received a list of owners from the previous
distributors, MacroSystems USA. Works for me!

Yep, they're cool. They offered a good deal on z-III retina, but I'm
buying a house and all purchases are off. :<

yes, I bought mine used as well. They never asked what the serial
number was, whether I had bought it from MacroSystems, or anything. All
they were concerned with was whether I had the most recent update and
whether I was happy with the product.
Furthermore, they gave me the tech phoneline number, a direct phone
number, and even their BBS number, with a suggestion that my technical
questions would be answered quicker on the BBS. Simply amazing.
Dealing with them was a definite pleasure. Too bad we can't clone
them!

I agree! But I wasn't aware they had a BBS number – would you be able to
post it so that I might use it should I (or any other user on CIS) could
contact them this way?

I'll have to call them again. Somewhere in the process of getting my
portion of the apartment painted it got lost. This is the first night in
a couple of days where I'm actually typing on my A2000. Once I get it,
