DEAR FRANZ;
I have been trying to figure out how to print the information that is available
from CompuServe. I am a new modem user with no manuals for my terminal
software programs. So I haven't any knowledge of how to get the information
from the screen into my computer and then to my printer. I have been trying to
download information without any success. I just want to print the screen.
What are some possible helpful hints that you can give me to get me started?
Will CompuServe print anything and send it to members?

Most terminal programs have the ability to 'Capture' text as it comes
in and save it to a file or output it to a printer. Look on your terminal
program's menus for a CAPTURE item or RECEIVE ASCII item.

one of the Sysops, Don Curtis, already anwered your question.
I think that your terminal software has the funtion CAPTURE TO PRINTER
or CAPTURE TO FILE, some progs like Term have the function BUFFER with
options like DISPLAY, PRINT, SAVE, Clear etc.

First thing: to save time and money, buy programs like Autopilot.
The demo version is in Lib9 (hope this is right) in the AmigaVendor
forum with the file name AP.LHA. Autopilot needs at least 3 MB Ram and
2-5 MB space on the harddisk. A multiscan would be not bad too.

I got a small booklet last year, which contains only some informations
about the pricing, forum names and phone numbers of Compuserve nodes.
There were no information concerning the Amiga except the names of
the Amiga forums.

Well, if you want to print your screen as seen, you might use the
"Graphicdump" program that comes with your Workbench. Start the program
and it will print the frontmost screen after 10 seconds as graphic.
PS: don't change the screen while printing as the program might also
change the printing to your new screen. (this can be a feature).
