Robert: "Wedge" as in "freeze" as in "locks up and does not respond" (also see "crash"). You should get out more often! 😉 I used to live in Stamford but we only had grinders… All the flics play fine in aaplayhi and aaplay. It seems oddly 3DS specific, hence the note to the Yost folks. I'm wondering if I didn't configure something properly. I've tried all the sorts of modes for flics, including all sizes of 256 colors, to no avail. Everything else seems fine. It's rather bizarre. – John

John, contact Vibrant and let them know about the problem. Perhaps they'll be able to reproduce it and fix it! -Alan

Note that AAP doesn't use Vibrant drivers. They use a VESA-compatiblity mode, wherein the Vibrant drivers talk to the hardware directly. There's a huge difference. – G
