Two things: have heard many rumblings about new drivers for 3DS3 (1.04+? mebbe) but cannot find. Also, and more important: We have two machines running 3ds, and the IBM with the .5 meg tseng4000w32 pops up renders(quick)in the Material ED, whereas the 1meg Cl-GC5422 takes forever. Otherwise, their main display render times are identical. HUH? I've tried lowering the resoulution, i.e 640,480at256 but same result. Thanks in advance. ian mckay

As for the display times, I am not sure what is going on. I believe that the difference my simply be a difference in chip performance for the given operation. The memory size of the board only determines the resolutions/color-depths with the extra being used for saving backgrounds and the like. Chuck Walbourn – Vibrant Graphics
