Anyone interested in a Wacom 422 12×12 tablet or a 510c? We have one of each for sell in its original packagings, with manual and drivers. Both in extradordinary good shape. The 510c comes with cables for Mac and PC, as well as latest software. The 12×12, with the transparent plastic plate, comes for PC (can sell it with the Mac cable, if you want). Both of them have the non pressure and pressure sensitive stylus. ana /krazy images ps.Suggested <g> $370 for the 510c and $490 for the 422.

ana – Tell me more. What are the differences between the models mentioned? Do they include the puck, and are the pens cordless? Are they older models, and do Wacom drivers work consistently across their entire product line? And finally, what's the asking price? 🙂 TIA bob

I am definitely in the market for a WACOM. I'm not familiar with the model numbers though – is this a UD or SD series? Also, do you have the 4 button puck for any of these? If yes, then e-mail me some $$$ John Tissavary (LUNA cie, inc)

It seems to me that you are going to get a better deal in the market. There are dealers selling the SD422 for arround $350, including puck and stylus (not pressure sensitive, though). Does your SGI come with Wacom support build in or do you have to buy additional drivers? After reading that, I just have decided to keep the tablet and don't loose the money. I am goign to buy a new ArtZ for the PowerMac, though (I am tired about turning on and off the control box! The ArtZ just get the energy from the ADB bus -serial in the PC case) ana /krazy images

Looks like I'll get an ArtZ or two, myself. I checked it out at Seybold, and besides the idioting absence of a third button on the pen it seems like a great little tablet. I like the size of the stylus, but I do have one complaint: it's too light – like one of those novelty midget pens or something. The apps I'm using all have built in wacom ud and sd support. There is also a universal Wacom driver in 3rd party development. John Tissavary (LUNA cie, inc)

The application I use, other than 3DS, requires a three button input for separate x,y, and z coordinate control. Very handy! – I guess I'll have to get the puck, though I don't really like pucks or mice that much. John Tissavary (LUNA cie, inc)

I just bought a Wacom and puck and I'm liken it, it's got a good solid feel to it not like a mouse. I was curious about the modeling program you mentioned,(xy,z cord. control) I'm always lookin for something better.

Have you heard of the new Creative Labs low cost 3D digitizers. Maybe they have a driver for Alias… well, maybe not. They sound like cool stuff anyway.
