What is animator studio?

I have been away from this forum for some time, and I have just seen the tail
end of a number of threads referring to "Animator Studio". What is this? I saw
a press release message in the library (aasr1.rls) but I would love to find
out more about it. I am principally involved in multimedia development, and
anything that helps me there…
Is this planned to the launched in the UK as well as the USA?

The launch for Animator Studio is still some months off. It's planned for the
