NetBsd….Yuk isn't that shareware…I looked at it in the aminet and don't see a real use for it… as for amiwin 2.0,i'm going to register it….I like what it can do….. though don't see why some much grafx apps is available for it reg is 40 +4 <3.5 hd> +4 <shipping before aug 31 ,1995 it's around 30 mb when full <includes 17 mb of xwindows fonts,> but it needs mem like windows <4mb min rec,8 rec>

Lepido, no, NetBSD has no shareware cost, near as I can tell. Of course, you _could_ contribute. However, if you can use Linux, NetBSD is of similiar, if not better, utility, since it follows the BSD Unix standard, which I consider superior to Unix V7. I have no idea of what you are addressing in the rest of your message. Please check your (P)arent message. I've never heard of AmiWin and I'm not using XWindows here. I've thought about downloading the latter, but I'm waiting for it to stabilize a bit before I do so. Brian Been there…. Done that…. Better.

Amiwin20 is a xwindows client for the amiga… it can run xwindows apps when recompiled for the amiga this was how xanim was made, and xv and from what i can tell it is a real xwindows system though i'm not sure it's dierectly xwindows compatible it's in grafx/x11 section of the aminet it's really a x11r6 client <as stated in the manual> i'll upload the file here<with the update/x11 examples and prog. libraries>

Rafael, Legibility/readability. Interesting point. They can be synonyms, but there is a definite nuance nowadays, where legibility means that you can decipher the characters on the page and make sense of them, and readability means how interesting the text is. Pete
