What do you dial into at work? I dial into an IBM 3708 protocol converter that is hooked to the 3090 and 3084 running MVS/XA, VTAM 3.1, and HandShake works well doing VT100 emulation. Is the 3101 em. a must, or will any term. that works do? What is a 3101?

Terry I tried VT100 emulation, but it did not work. I will try to get more specifics to see if another type of emulation is possible. Thanks — Rocco

Rocco, have you tried VT52? BTW, why don't you use the IBM side to access the mainframe with an IRMA board. Surely you can convince Rick that they should give you an IRMA <grin>. Marlene
