I am not too sure about the Fast Preview Plug-in, when I tried to preview a morph routine it would not show any of the morph changes, not even when I made a flc from it, but when I used the original preview function it worked OK showing all the morphed changes. Have I got the Plug-in set up right? or is there a bug? All in all the regular preview seems faster and easier to use. Thanks, Bill

As can be found in the Readme file, FastPreview does not currently support morphing 🙁 -Phil

Phil, Thanks for the tip, I guess I better read the Readme file for other tidbits of info, I have become a little lax on reading them even though I do print them out most times. Bill

Bill… You are right, R4 preview is different. I found the creation of the preview to be much slower. It also displays each frame as it is created, opposed to the slider bar. (At least that is how mine seems to work.) I have regrets on my $300 decision to upgrade. I don't need the IK stuff right now. I really was interested in the perspective stuff, but the frame display is sooo slow on my 486/50 that I don't even bother with it anymore. S White

S White, Thanks for the reply I am glad to see that I am not the only frustrated one, I agree that some of the upgrade features are somewhat dubious, but as I got the upgrade "free" due to buying ver 3 a few months ago I feel that I have nothing to complain about especially since I really love this program.

>>It also displays each frame as it is created, opposed to the slider bar Are you using the Vibrant drivers for your video card? If I remember correctly (I might not) a message some time back said that when using vesa drivers, 3ds's preview would display each frame, whereas w/the Vibrant drivers, it would show the the 'gas gauge'. My apologies if I misunderstood the problem. John Stetzer JWS

John…. My Prolinea has a bus video card. I do use a VESA driver to make it work. I will check into your info. Thanks for the comeback. SW
