Don, The following cause GURU errors lha138.run, arc.exe, zoo.exe, archlp.exe, I run these with nearly 1/2 mg left so I don't think it's because of a lack of memory. James.

James, that's very strange since I've run those files under OS versions from 1.2 to 2.1. Are you sure that your machine is operating properly? If you are concerned about memory, then try the following: Format a floppy, keep the name Empty: Copy lha138.run to it (CD to wherever you have LHA138.RUN, type: Copy LHA138.RUN Empty:) Open a shell and once in it, type: CD Empty: LHA138.RUN If you see the LHA138.RUN file decompress, then the problem wasn't with your OS, but something else. If you saw the guru, then you definitely have a problem, but I can't say what right off the bat. Give us the full number of the GURU. Perhaps we can provide some direction.

James, There is no reason those files should give you problems. They all work. It almost sounds like you're getting a corrupt download. What terminal program are you using to download the files and what protocol are you telling CIS to use? Also, what other protocols does your terminal program support? Don
