#A4091 install
3 messages in this thread
Thanks for you input, Clarence. Unfortunately, that hard drive connected to the
internal port works fine. When I plug in the tape drive in place of the hard
drive, the system won't even boot.
In the test case, there is only one internal device hooked to the 4091 and it
is replacing one that works. If the tapes termination is a problem, then it
would not have worked on the A4000 Flyer SCSI chain on a different A4000.
What utilities should I have on the A4091 diskette? Since this card was
installed elsewhere, I never got the diskette and I don't know if the utilities
are loaded.
TIA

I believe that there is a diskette with a revised version of the BindDrivers…
(don't hold me to it… I'm tallking from memory).. as well as some other
commands… I'll look for my original diskette and I'll get back with you.. You
might want to give the folks over at the DKB Vendor area in the AMIGAVENDOR
forum a howler.. They are pretty good about support questions.
Catcha later,
Thanks Clarence.
They've been stepping me slowly through all the possibilities, but nothing has
helped yet. The 4000 still won't boot with the DAT connected.
