I am trying to help a friend get an Amiga 2000 switching between AmigaDos and MS dos. The 2000 has a bridgeboard installed but it has never been used in the MS dos mode. I've followed the instructions in the manuals and I can get it to boot into MS dos from the A: floppy drive but I am unable to create a bootable partition on the hard drive. I will readily admit that I know absolutely nothing about Amigas and I'm sure that the problems I am having are greatly exacerbated by my own ignorance but any help would be greatly appreciated. Randy, it might help to post which Bridgeboard this is, what size drive it is connected to, what machine it is installed in, what revision of the AmigaDOS operating system, and what version of Janus he has. Without those, we don't know who has the specialized knowledge to help since the various flavors of the combinations were VERY different. Brian Been there…. Done that…. Better.
