Hey Anyone, When using bones pro & object motion blur I get a "invalid file name" message when rendering during the preparing normals portion. Also when using scene motion blur the wrong frames are rendered, for example: when rendering frame 20, frames 75,76,&77 will render. Any ideas? Thanks, Allan Steele

Here's a (poor?) explanation of your problem from a message I sent a while back. . . . _____ After I noticed this, I decided to test blurring a Bones Pro animation with extra frames saved out and it worked fine. Just scale the number of frames in a file (in my standard Scene blur count) to 10 times the desired length, go into BonesPro and save out the data. Then scale the file back to twice as many frames as needed and render a video post, every 2nd frame, scene Mblurred (default setting of 5) animation, and presto, blurred cow! _______ . . . . I scale an animation to twice the frame count and render every other frame to achieve the 50% blur you get from film. – Ron

Ronald, thanks for the tip-I'll give it a try. Allan

Bones Pro does not work with motion blur. I believe its a problem with the IPAS interface. Particles will not blur either. Ian.
