A page fault ???? A PAGE FAULT ??? You're getting page faults ??? Did you do something to upset the teacher ??? Actually they're nothing to worry about, other than the fact that they're happening. A page fault occurs when the program tries to access something in memory, and it ain't there. So the Phar Lap DOS extender has to search the virtual memory, find the page with the information and swap that page back into memory. Of course it has to swap something else out to do this. If you're getting tens of thousands, it's probably an indicator that you can use more RAM in the machine for the work you're doing. But a coupla thousand ain't nothing to really worry about.
