#CFIG386 PHAR LAB – ERROR

I'm having a major problems getting 3D Studio to work with my PC.
I have a Micron P90. Since I upgraded the BIOS two weeks ago, I can't get
3D Studio v4c1 or Animator Pro to run on my machine. I keep getting a
Abnormal Program Termination: Illegal Instruction CS:EIP = 000Fh:0019EB50h
message. I don't know what this message means, but I suspect it has something
to do the the Phar Lap cfig386 dos extender that ships with 3DS and ANI PRO.
I can use any help in solving this problem. My CIS is 74654,3534. Thanks.

Sounds like your new BIOS is using different areas of memory than your old one
was. Are you using QEMM or something similar? Did you adjust the memory
exclusions when you switched the BIOS?

Let us know if Jonas' clean boot solves your problem or at least pin points
where the problem lies.
Just out of curiosity what made you upgrade the BIOS? I also have a Micron
P90.
