Nik, I just recently purchased aas, and sent in the registration card about the 2nd week of august. I have not yet installed AAS, as I am waiting on the machine, but what is the procedure for getting the c1 update? Doug

"…but what is the procedure for getting the c1 update?" There has been confusion about this because of the length of time between folks sending us their registration and their receipt of c1. I believe we've straightened this out now. The procedure is simple: your registration card will kick off an automatic mailing of c1 for you. Later, by the way, we plan to update you with a Win95 compatible version of AAStudio (no cost). The fact that you're registered will guarantee your receipt of this Win95 version too. We mail out c1's every other week, so it's possible that a few weeks delay will be normal.

Nik, I think I have registered for my AAStudio but I have not received the updates yet. When will win 95 update will be mailed out? Would you check to see if I am in the database? If I just want to use the audio tool in AAstudio, will it work now under win 95? Mei-Tien Hsing

I seem to remember seeing something about an NT version. Is this the same as the Win 95 version, and/or will it be nailed out as well? Thanks so much for your reply. Doug

Hi Nik, Could you please check on the status of my update. I called over a month ago for the manual and the update. I got the manual a couple of weeks ago. thanks, matt

Nik: Just wanted to keep my foot in the door by saying that I STILL haven't seen the upgrade yet, and, as I mentioned in my email a while back, I sent in my registration card when I got AAS (right after it came out — on the migrate from AAP deal). Dave

David, I got my update today too, but no manual. Did you get the manual with yours? Terry

Terry: >>did you get a manual w/ yours? No, but I already had one. Actually, I had requested a hard-copy manual quite a while back, and had received it. Then, about a week before the update came, I got ANOTHER copy of the manual. Whether the two are related or not, I don't know. Dave

David, I guess I need to get back with them and see about my manual. Thanks, Terry

David – I also had requested through this forum a copy of the manual and got it quite quickly. Three days ago another copy arrived so maybe that means the C1 is on its way also. Anne

Anne, Let's see, everyone else got two manuals and no c1 update. I've got the c1 update and no manual. Hmmmmm, the saga continues. <g> Terry

Terry – If you get a second C1 update, let's trade! Anne

Anne, LOL!! It's starting to look like that's the ONLY way I'll get a manual. Terry

Anne: The only difference I saw between the two manuals (I didn't do a page-by-page comparison) was that while the first manual I received had a bunch of overlapping "Help" windows on the cover, the new one has the filmstrip man. Maybe the new mailings are just the result of an overly proud graphic designer!<g> Dave
