Hey Hey! I was wondering If the IPAS functions on disk 5 (the tree and foliage and fractalize set) will allow you to create arrays of trees into a forest. I need to create trees and attach them to a fractal terrain of Texas I DXF'd from VistaPro. VistaPro doesn't export trees or clouds, only landscape. If you could point me to any information about the usage and user control of the trees, I would be very happy! thanks very much. -JohnBuc p.s. Disk 2 is great 🙂 !

Although disk 5 (Silicon Garden) will create wonderful trees and vegetation, you will want to have Disk 6 so you can use SCATTER for multiplying the trees.

Do you know how well the Forest function which is a part of Disk #5 works?? Again, thank you for the information! -JohnBuc

Again, it is my feeling that for it's time, the forest function in Silicon Garden was fine but it created lots of geometry and in those days we were using 386's which could really crawl. Scatter does the job in a much more managable way. IMHO Lee
