From my understanding, the new forum will be a "showcase" for all kinds of
Autodesk product output. I believe we will get a section in the new forum,
rather than the whole forum, which is what your message sounds like. Or are
you privy to some inside info? <g> How about our own cable channel?

Not you Paul. <g> This information was inferred from comments regarding the
special circumstanes for Studio City and that a new forum was being established
for it and that no charter or guidelines had yet been determined. Jonas also
pointed out that this forum is intended for "Technical Support" whereas the new
forum which incorporates Studio City does not necessarily fall into that
category, the implication being there might be more latitude although this was
not specifically stated. I would hope that part of Studio City could be devoted
to free-from creative thinking and open dialog, and that there would be other
sections or headings devoted specifically to the business at hand.
Really the ball in everyone's court. My plan is to help where I can but I have
assumed you would continue doing what you've been doing along with Sanford and
that hopefully Kevin would re-join us in his previous capacity. I think there
need not be any problem with this arrangement provided that everyone knows
where things stand. What do you think?

Yup. I will repost my fishing for interest message again, it probably
scrolled off by now. So far there are 3 people who have thrown out offers to
fill permanent positions (myself, Don Hogan, and David Gould). Sanford Kennedy
has offered to act as a temporary .prj co-ordinator if people are ready to
contribute now. There will probably always be stuff to be done here and there
too. I'm excited.
This may not have fully answered your question. If you wish to, send me
e-mail asking for further clarification.

Good enough for me. Just want to see the ball keep rolling, and hope to see
many people get involved as they see fit and that their efforts conform to what
seems appropriate. (I know, "appropriate" can be broadly defined so maybe
"constructive" would be a better choice. <g>)

One of the difficulties of forum communication… Do you get the "splunge"
reference? I don't get the "devious rascal" reference, that is, if it WAS a
