Sorry to hear those troubles. My biggest prob right now is I need to back this project up, but the new backup program my dealer sent would not work either. And I haven't seen any promising reports about backups working better with 4.06. Even though NT said it worked with my actual tape drive when it was in OZ. Greg Good luck.

Greg, have you tried a backup since receiving 4.06? Or have you got 4.06 yet? Would like an update when you've tried that. Chuck.

Chuck, I've received 4.06. But I'm near the end of a project that I really want to save. I'm afraid to update because of all the horror stories I'm reading around here. Everything but backup is working real well for me on 4.o5. I am considering updating, however I would like to get some advice on the best way to preserve this project through the update. I have (2) 2 gig atlas' and (1) 9 gig microp. The 9 gig is pretty empty. I believe that most people are having problems after the update because of the cleanup function. We really need to reformat after the update to get this function to work properly. I'm thinking that I after updating, I should transfer all files from drive to drive, to empty one at a time for reformatting. I'm sure this will take quite a bit of time, and I'm not too keen on the drive to drive transfer even working. Is there any official position/advice on getting a 405 project into 4.06? And are my above assumptions in the ballpark, or at the wrong stadium? Greg Welch
