Hank, What did you think of the Flyer process? The effects look pretty good, much better than before, but still loses quite a bit of quality — p probably unavoidable…

Sam, Well, the process is straight forward with the script, but it doesn't always seem to work. Not sure why, as it works on some clips and not others. I wonder if there is a problem with certain resolutions. Had slo mo work once, but got lots of flashing in the first frames. Still testing, Hank Videology, Inc Where you always get P.O.M.P. and Service under all circumstances

Hank, The process worked fine for me. I tested -all- of them. Despite a slight loss of resolution (well, a big loss) they looked pretty good.

Sam, Did you do them on entire clips starting at :00? Or just on subsegments? I'll be doing more testing to see if there is a pattern. Hank Videology, Inc Where you always get P.O.M.P. and Service under all circumstances

If it's the one in TPaint, I've been able to get it working. It's definitely not as good quality as using DMC on a video deck but it passes for some uses. (Boy, I sure do miss the Beta decks with DMC that I used at FOX-38) BarryVedros ISI

Hi Barry, I've been using the FlyerProc.rexx script in the NewTek/Arexx/Editor drawer outlined in the readme file on the 4.06 install disk 1. These processes take 4 seconds or less per field (yes field) and offer forward and reverse slo.mo and speed up with interger factors. Try a few and see what you think.
